Only 52 hours left! Thank you so much for your support so far. Storyburg is happening, and it is going to be so much fun. This wouldn't happen without you. If you're bored at work, check out a couple of things you can do to spread the word: Social Goal #2 and Change Your Facebook Profile Pic.
If you were wanting to tweak your pledge, now is a great time to do that. We have added a "Signature" Package and there is always the ComicBook For Kids Add-On where we will send a copy of Storyburg to kids and teens in hospitals.

Hi! Thank you so much for being a backer of Storyburg.
We are entering the 72 hours left mark... and a lot of cool stuff can happen during that time! So here's a long update - hit up the sections with headings you like.
We've unlocked one of our four social goals. That means Fan Pick cards are happening! yippeeeee! Wait, what does that mean? It means you get to come up with and then vote on your favorite cards to include!
WHAT TO DO: Add a comment here (or on the main kickstarter comment section: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dancingkoalagames/storyburg/comments) to let us know what card idea you have, #fanpick. We are looking for characters, abilities and equippable items (hats, weapons, clothing, anything!) These can be from public domain, from your imagination, or if you really want something not public domain... I could always spoof it.
Some examples: Excalibur. A Sparkly Unicorn. A standard plunger. The Stare of Medusa.
Then after the kickstarter campaign, I will put together a poll of the ideas for all backers to vote on!
NEXT GOAL:

We've added a new Pledge Tier "Signature Package" - check it out! It includes a signed copy of Storyburg and a quick character sketch. You'll also receive the game slightly faster than other backers since I will be airmailing the games to me to sign.

Hi Storyburgites!
After a pretty wild week of family hospital"ness"... I'm back! (Everyone is fine.) We've only got about a week left of the Storyburg Kickstarter Campaign, so it's time to get jiggy with it.
Newly Added: FREE PLAY MODE!
I love this game so much, and there've been some requests... so I've decided to include a FREE PLAY MODE in every copy of Storyburg! And instead of making it an add-on, Free Play is... free!
After you've finished playing Campaign Mode (or between Chapters), you'll be able to pick up Storyburg and play one-off games! Either Solo or Co-Op! Free Play Mode will feature multiple rounds of Peril and Exploration, leveling up your Characters and will culminate in an Epic Boss Battle!

Storyburgians! We've hit another stretch goal. Spot UV coating on the game box. This will help make the box look mega-awesome on your game shelf. The next stretch goal to unlock is Card Dividers... this will go a long way to help keeping these 300+ cards organized for easy setup and cleanup. Who doesn't love cleaning and organizing?
In this update I wanted to share a couple of cool free resources with you as I talk about the main characters in Storyburg. BUT FIRST....

PROJECT GUTENBERG & THE CHARACTERS OF STORYBURG (or most of them!)
If you haven't heard of Project Gutenberg, then prepare to become super happy about the internet's existence. Project Gutenberg is an online library of free eBooks. https://www.gutenberg.org/ They've been digitizing and sharing books for over 50 years.
PETER PAN - Did you know that the first incarnation of Peter Pan had him be one week old?!? And that he was taught to fly by birds?! What about Little Nemo?
Little Nemo originated in a weekly newspaper comic strip in the New York Herald from 1905-1911. Little Nemo in Slumberland was written and illustrated by the amazingly talented Winsor McCay. These full-color comic strips filled up an entire newspaper page (about 16 inches x 22 inches). Imagine being a kid, before cartoons, opening up the newspaper to find Slumberland each week in a format larger than they could hold. Generally, the strips began with Nemo falling asleep, then followed him through an astonishing dream... and ended with him waking up (often having fallen out of bed).
